Morning Call: Corbett dead wrong on privatization

I’ve lived in Texas, Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and I find I enjoy shopping at the Pennsylvania liquor stores more. Why? The service is comparable, and the prices are competitive, if not better. I am particularly attracted to the Chairman’s Selections, which provide significant discounts and excellent quality. Yes, I may be able sometimes to find a particular bottle at a dollar or two less than Pennsylvania retail prices elsewhere, but when I think of the financial benefits that flow back into the state, to me it’s a no-brainer.
